The narrative of this collection is derived from the novel, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo. It follows Edward the porcelain rabbit through a series of turbulent events that allow him to experience real connection. In the book, the evolution of the garments parallels the evolution of the rabbit, they grow together and become more informed by his experiences overtime, thus furthering my personal research in uncovering the artists’ uniform.
